BOOK ILLUSTRATIONS
These vivid paintings have been published in children's books that have sold over one million copies worldwide. All of them were painted by hand using acrylic paints. Backgrounds were airbrushed and then details added with tiny brushes. Originals, prints and signed copies of the books are available for purchase from Astrella Art Design.

STAGE LIGHTING
Designing in a 3-dimensional space using light, Astrella plots out where every light is to be hung, focussed and colored. Then there is the timing and execution of the "looks" within each scene. Many shows are preprogrammed as cues on the lighting controller while others are performed manually on the fly by manipulating the faders and bump buttons. Below are stage shots taken during live performances designed, programmed and operated by Mark Astrella.
